About Walpole Real Estate

Walpole Real Estate was the first real estate office established in Walpole in 1992. The agency is owned and managed by Vaughan and Chris Bellanger. Vaughan Bellanger is the Licensee and Principal.
Vaughan (Manager and Sales), Chris- his wife (Office Manager, part time and Web Site), Katie Bellanger (Sales), Terrie Thompson (Sales- rejoining us this year).

Vaughan Bellanger’s career in real estate began by working in Denmark as a sales representative with Harman Ricketts. The opportunity to set up the agency in Walpole came about with the release of the Tingleview Estate and no local agency to sell the lots. Vaughan has an extensive knowledge of the area as he was born here and has been a resident for over 60 years. His grandfather Pierre Bellanger pioneered the district of Nornalup and came here from France with his young family in 1908, settling on a block on the banks of the Frankland River. His family still live on and work the original property. When not working in the office, Vaughan thoroughly enjoys beef farming, traveling with friends, fishing at the Blue Holes or on the Frankland River with a good bottle of local white wine.

Chris Bellanger has always had a connection to the area as her family migrated to Tingledale in 1953 and owned a cottage at Peaceful Bay for many  years. Chris & Vaughan are the proprietors of Walpole Real Estate. They both are involved in the local community in various capacities. They have three adult children and two grandsons, who are the joy of their lives. Chris is an avid organic gardener and is a volunteer community rep on the Southern Regions Community Leadership Group. When not gardening, Chris enjoys dabbling in acrylics, fishing, reading and writing. Any opportunity to get into 'red dirt country' and Chris will have the camper packed in no time!

Katie Bellanger is the daughter of Chris and Vaughan and joined the firm in January, 2006. She has a six year old son and works part time. Katie has lived in the district most of her life and attended school in Walpole, then Denmark and Albany High Schools and Albany TAFE. It's refreshing to have a young and enthusiastic member on our team. Katie, like her mother enjoys gardening, fishing and beach combing.

Terrie Thompson Terrie has three young children and is now a permanent resident. She and Anthony have returned to the family farm at Tingleview which Terrie's  father-in-law John developed into the very popular Tingleview Estate.
